Wallpaper Cycler Pro is a very useful
and powerful desktop wallpaper manager that allows to
change static wallpaper on your desktop by any desired
order. Wallpaper Cycler Pro allows you to change the
wallpaper with a specific delay or at specific times
(on system start-up for example). Wallpapers can be
sorted in multi-level categories which
can have time constraints. For example:
a category for wallpapers that will only be used in
the autumn, spring etc. Categories can be linked to
local folders on PC to automatically detect new desktop
wallpapers. The performance of Wallpaper Cycler Pro
is optimized for very fast work. As a result, Wallpaper
Cycler allows you to manage gygabytes of wallpapers
without slowing down.
An advanced random selection algorithm is included to ensure that
all wallpapers are randomly chosen before a wallpaper appears again.
Wallpaper Cycler goes much powerful
than most other wallpaper changing tools. The advanced
layout feature allows you to create customized
layouts to be used on your PC's desktop. Layouts allows
you to show and arrange an unlimited combination of
the following objects on your desktop which can be freely
placed anywhere on your desktop:
- calendars,
- quotes,
- notes,
- webcams,
- other wallpapers,
- calendar notes objects,
- news (RSS) headlines
You can even add an object multiple times on the desktop each with
their own settings. Any combination of
effects (blur,
brightness, color-tone, mask, texturize, ...) can be applied to each
individual object. The effects system can be extended with 3rd party effects DLLs with the aid of the
effects SDK.
Also Wallpaper Cycler Pro includes a screen saver module
which shows a slide show of all your wallpapers with
digital transition effects. The screen saver module
can also monitor your CPU load when
it wants to cycle and stop cycling when your CPU is
too busy.
Wallpaper Cycler Pro can operate three types of wallpapers:
image, gradient and
URL. URL wallpapers even allow you
to add Webcams to your desktop!
